The Alpha-40L RFID 4.1-inch (104 mm) direct thermal portable label printer is RAIN UHF compliant, features a rugged design and reliable performance that will continue to operate long after other printers have failed. The Alpha-40L RFID is a comfortable, lightweight printer capable of working with any mobile label, document or receipt printing application where you need labels printed wherever you are.
The Alpha-40L RFID is designed for a tough life on the road, in a warehouse, manufacturing or retail location. The printer is IP54-rated and can withstand a 6-foot (1.8 m) drop without added bulk. An optional IP-rated protective case is available for additional dust and water resistance and can withstand an 8.2-foot (2.5 m) fall and keep printing.
The Alpha-40L RFID can be worn comfortably for a full shift, without interfering with the user's tasks. Use USB, or optional MFi Bluetooth®, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac wireless to connect to a mobile computer or even a smartphone and produce clear, accurate labels hour after hour.
The Alpha-40L RFID 4-inch performance mobile printer was designed to meet military-grade standards for drop and vehicle vibration. Ideal for enterprise professionals on-the-go. The Alpha-40L RFID printer has compatibility with SOTI Connect IoT Management tool or TSC Console remote printer management for greater visibility into real-time data on the health and performance of the devices.
The new mobile printer also features a smart battery management system. The smart batteries within the mobile printer can report the state of battery capacity, charge status and history of charge cycles.
With the Apple-certified MFi Bluetooth® 5.0 connection and 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi fast roaming features, the Alpha-40L RFID not only provides reliable and seamless communication with users’ devices, it also securely prints labels wherever they are needed.
The Alpha-40L RFID Near Field Communication (NFC) makes it simple to connect to the printer directly from a compatible device. NFC capability automatically establishes a direct connection between your NFC enabled smartphone or tablet and an Alpha-40L RFID printer, so you can print or scan using any number of applications without having to connect to a network or enter any login credentials.
