The BlueBird T40 Ultra is an 8-inch rugged Android tablet built specifically for correctional facilities. It combines a tamper-detection sensor, a cable-free design with wireless and magnetic pogo-pin charging, and IP68 sealing with 2 m / 6.6 ft drop protection. It launches on Android 16 with upgrades to Android 18 and 20 and a 4+4 year supply and support lifecycle, so facilities can run inmate services on one hardware platform for years.
