BlueBird FX50 Android Kiosk – 15.6"/21.5" FHD, RFID & EMV NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, PoE+
The BlueBird FX50 is a modular Android self-service kiosk with a built-in RFID reader and EMV-certified NFC for contactless tap-to-pay. It is designed for retail, restaurant, hospitality, healthcare and travel operators who want slim, customer-facing kiosks for ordering, check-out and check-in. It comes in 15.6-inch or 21.5-inch Full HD sizes, runs Android 16 on a Qualcomm QC6490 octa-core processor and connects over Wi-Fi 6E with PoE+ power.
Key features
- Payments without a separate terminal: EMV-certified NFC supports mobile wallets and contactless cards, and third-party EMV payment readers can be mounted and connected over a dedicated USB port.
- RFID inside: an internal RFID reader removes bulky external hardware, keeping installations slim even on walls and narrow displays.
- Tap beyond payments: Apple VAS and Google Smart Tap let customers tap phones for loyalty cards, boarding passes, tickets and digital IDs.
- Build it your way: choose 15.6-inch or 21.5-inch, portrait or landscape, and add scanners, light bars and other peripherals on any side.
- Single-cable installation: PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at/bt) carries power and data, or use a 12 V DC input.
- Readable and durable display: 500-nit Full HD panel, anti-fingerprint coating and 1.8 mm reinforced glass, with IP5X dust protection and anti-static design.
- Managed at scale: BlueBird BOS works with existing EMM systems for remote configuration, updates and staging across sites.
- Long life cycle: a four-year sales period plus up to four further years of service and support; Android upgrades planned to 18 and 20.
